Giving Center Donations

Don't forget!

Both Carelink groups are collecting donations at our April 9th meetings for the Oaklawn Giving Center. BTW, April 9th is NEXT WEEK!

I've been through that part of town a few times the past couple years. Our family has delivered turkey dinners and walked through the neighborhood going door-to-door giving the meals away and asking if we could pray for the families. And I was down there for a day after the tornado went through last year.

I always come home overwhelmed by all that I have and how different their lives are from mine.

We all have stuff we don't need, have outgrown, don't like, never use. Toss it in your car TODAY (so you don't forget on Tuesday :-) Or load up bags and boxes of items you're willing to part with so someone else can be blessed! You can also buy non-perishable items to help stock their food pantry. The church will have their trailer in the parking lot for us to put our donations into, so we've got PLENTY OF ROOM for everything you bring!

This Giving Center is making a difference in so many ways. By offering a place where people can come get basic needs or food to feed their families, they've also been able to share the love of Jesus and see people accept Christ as their Savior!
