...and We Made It!

I was telling someone the other day how much I enjoy the beginning and end of a Carelink year. I love planning with the team in the summer & fall for a new year of activities. And the end seems to transition me right into the beginning again with moms volunteering to help next year and evaluations being turned in. The ideas have already started to flow! May is so busy with team thank you's, childcare appreciation and making the last meeting something fun and special, that I am really looking forward to a few weeks "off"! I'm sure you can relate!

I just can't thank them enough: the women on the team who did so much to make this Carelink year happen. We had six mentor moms who shared memories and wisdom with our groups each week. We had six small group leaders who made sure you knew what was going on and was always a friendly face to welcome you in on Tuesday mornings. We also had women who helped with the nursery volunteer needs, made the awesome photo directories, purchased door prizes, called on speakers, wrote your stories for the "Who We Are" booklets and posted notes on the blog & facebook so you'd have something to read there.

Many of you have pulled me aside and said what a great job I did or what a good year we had. Thank you for those encouraging words. I just want the team to hear them as well, because it took a handful of women excited about the ministry and interested in the moms to make it what it was.

And let us not forget, Praise the Lord! All good things are a gift from above. All the talents and abilities represented by every woman involved had it's start in the Creator Himself! Thank you, Jesus   ~Tiffany
