Mixer questions were on the tables and we asked ladies to sit at the table that best described their "craftiness" (not the cunning kind!). Some tables said, "I love doing anything with my hands!", "Are we done yet?" and "I am craft challenged." So, women had an opportunity to catch up with some friends who aren't in their small group or get to know some women they may not have met yet.
If you hadn't figured it out yet, instead of the usual speaker presentation, we had a craft day. Vonda K. and Jill A. designed and pulled together all the materials for ladies to make around 100 bracelets or bookmarks. Everyone signed up in advance and paid a small fee for the supplies. Some women purchased extra to make as Christmas gifts for their family and friends.
