Backstage with the Bible

I'm sure many of you had a hand in making VBS a success this year at First MB Church. For those of you that may not know, the theme was "Backstage with the Bible" and featured the Go Fish Guys, who are a kid's Christian music act. The auditorium was fully decorated as a stage complete with flashing lights, large screen, music cases, stage equipment and much more!

Kids got to walk down a red carpet and leave their offerings in a guitar case with a different musician performing every day in the "park". They saw guitar players, flutists & violinists to name a few. Each day the children had worship with the Go Fish Guys, snacks, bible story time, crafts and games. Themes for the week included: Superstar (Moses), 10 Commandments, The Cross (story of Jesus), Saved (our need for a Savior), and Go Fish (tell others about Jesus).

My kids absolutely LOVED the music. And I have to say that I don't mind listening to it either. You can go online to purchase a CD, but I found the videos on YouTube the other day and wanted to share the details. Now we can play the actual VBS videos on the computer at home and Micah & Kaitlyn can dance all they want. Most of them have the words, which is helpful.
